The GentleLase Plus incorporates Candela's Dynamic Cooling Device, which sprays a precise burst of cryogen onto the skin immediately before each laser pulse. This cools the epidermis, helps protect the surrounding skin, and significantly improves comfort during treatment.

Adjustable spot sizes ranging from 8 mm to 18 mm allow treatment to be tailored to the area — smaller settings for precise facial work, larger settings for efficiently covering the legs, back, or other larger areas.
Why 755 nm?
The 755-nm wavelength is strongly absorbed by melanin. Because dark hair contains melanin, this allows laser energy to selectively target pigmented hair follicles while minimizing impact on the surrounding tissue. This precision is what makes Alexandrite technology a gold standard in professional hair removal.

No — and we believe in being upfront about that. The GentleLase Plus is generally best suited to skin types I–IV with pigmented hair. Darker or recently tanned skin may require a different laser wavelength or treatment approach. Your safety comes before making a sale. If you're not an appropriate candidate for the technology available at Laser Hair Elimination, we'll tell you.
